1987, Sonya Park began practicing corporate and securities law in Boston,
Massachusetts. Following a brief period working in-house as Counsel to The
Timberland Company, she attended the Masters of Law program at Kings
College, London. She joined Gottesman Jones & Partners on completion of her
LL.M in international business law in 1995.
Sonya practices United States and international business and commercial law,
while acting as managing partner of the firm. Her work ranges from advising
start-ups to negotiating, documenting and managing complex international
commercial transactions.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar
Association and served as Vice Chairman of Committee 6 of the Human Rights
Institute of the IBA. In her free time, she runs a contemporary art gallery in
London, Fieldgate Gallery, with Richard Ducker.
